So I was looking to get a plant for my bedroom and I was wondering if you had any suggestions? My room is relatively bright but the sun never really shines directly through the windows. I don’t really have the space for a giant plant, so a small one would be better. Thanks! :)

Plants make every space better!
Okay, so here are a couple options for you.

Angel vine. This plant grows very quickly and requires a light watering every other day. I’ve had mine for a couple years now, and I have to keep trimming it because it’s so long. It’s not a very large plant and is suited to a medium light space, much like your room. I do want to point out that angel vine is toxic to cats, I live with two cats and just place my plant out of reach. I’ve had it two years and my cats aren’t even remotely interested in it.

Terrariums! Specifically ones with air plants (pictured) because they are so dang cool. Most terrariums house succulents, so they need very little watering. I water mine every week with a very small amount of water. You can get all different sizes of terrariums or even make your own. Some come with cute little displays in them. Just all together lovely.

Cacti. Also succulents! These thrive in neglect and really like to be left alone. They’ll grow to a proportionate size of the pot you place them in, so you can keep them on the small or mid-range size. I water my cacti every other week, but some breeds require even less frequent watering. They just look very aesthetically pleasing and minimalistic, and if you’re afraid of being a plant owner for the first time, this is a very low-risk way of going about it.
